[ Nonchalant, non-committal; keeping it easy for the both of them. They're both cool about it, no big deal. ]
I'll be over in-- half an hour? Just uh, don't try and find any beds the way you are. [ A sliver of a joke, there. ]
Oh, and there was this guy -- he said his omen was helping him get around. If you have one.
[ He knows everyone can technically have one, but does his dad bother with his? Will it actually be useful?? Who knows; Robby's just putting it out there. ]
[Yeah. Totally cool. Perfectly cool. It's not like the only time he's had Robby over was when he showed up with his drunk girlfriend. He totally didn't get into a karate fight with that girl's dad AKA his ETERNAL RIVAL the next morning or anything either.
...Yeah. [ Maybe -- maybe the omen wouldn't be as useful in this situation as he was thinking. But. Whatever. ] Okay, well. See you.
[ Poorly picked words Robby realises as he's turning off the omni, but too late!! Let's hope chaos doesn't reign by now between the journey from his place to Johnny's. He packs just a change of clothes for one night, but ends up adding in food (mostly snacks) into his bag than anything else, like he isn't sure if his dad will have much food, and you know what his roommate can do? Make things appear. Good stuff.
The trip there still takes him a minute, and he's feeling nerves himself, if he's honest. Especially once he's stepped outside the dojo-slash-warehouse, and remembering when he was last here; the reason he was last here, his eyes on Paul, and that twisted contradiction in his gut that wanted to hate him, fight him, and to concede before anything happened.
And now, he feels a contradiction to that. But he doesn't hang around and indulge in the feeling, moving into the building and starting to find the part that isn't dojo, into the part he didn't step into before. Looking for one (1) dad, and calling out - until he'll find whatever room he's in. ]
[The part of the dojo that wasn't a dojo was about as cozy as it could be. It was still very obviously an old warehouse but there was a bunch of second hand furniture that gave it a sort of homey look. There's also some old art work of scantily clad women set up along the wall, because of course there is.
Johnny can be found with his Omen trying to spread out a sheet over an old cot that he wrangled up when there were a few more people living in the warehouse. He misses the bed entirely.]
[ He wasn't one to judge living spaces. The LaRusso's living space was clean, new, money; and there were plenty of people like that, but never once was it him. You break something in a house like that, and it's noticed, it's an eyesore, all before it gets switched out. Except broken shit was his entire living experience, it was clutter, it was a carpet rarely vacuumed because his mom rarely cared and he didn't care if she didn't.
Robby sees this warehouse-adjacent home, and what he sees it: you could do a lot to it. You could leave broken shit to be future you's problem (because it'll always be future you's problem) and there's no expectations. There's something relaxing about it.
Or that could be the fact his dad can't see him.
But look, behold: said dad is doing exactly what Robby said he shouldn't. Okay, some of what he said not to (sorting out a cot), some of what he did (getting his Omen) to help. He's definitely not taking in the fact with anything other than exasperated disbelief. There's no tiny giddiness in seeing his dad take charge about him possibly staying over, because why would there be.
He puts the bag down by the wall and walks over to the cot, picking up the sheet with a glance at the omen. Wasn't thinking of saying at first, but he sighs, and: ]
Couldn't help yourself, huh. Tory made some food, --with her powers. Dunno what you've got. You know what you're going to do about classes?
[ He's taking over the sheet, or will try to, without bringing attention to it. Spread it over properly, get the corners where they should be and the fabric stretched out. Speaks evenly and asks the question evenly, like this is normal. ]

Yeah... Sure. I'll uh- figure something out. I've got this.
[He gives that a little bit of thought and nods.]
Yeah. I have one of those. His name's uh- Tommy. He mostly fetches me beer and runs a camera into the network here.
He's pretty fucking badass though.
